Abstract:

During the conference, a questionnaire listing proposed topical areas was given to participants, along with instructions to indicate their first three preferences and to propose additional discussion areas. Workshops' topics were Pollution Sources and Receiving Water Impact; Modeling and Data Management; Institutional Issue; NPDES Permits and Data Requirements; and Control Technology (two groups). This paper is an attempt to summarize the workgroup reports and to draw from them some common recommendations for the engineering and scientific community.
