Abstract:

This paper summarizes some important considerations and procedures for developing comprehensive nonpoint pollution management plans relying upon regional facilities. The advantages and disadvantages of piecemeal and comprehensive approaches to nonpoint pollution management are discussed. Procedures for developing a comprehensive regional BMP master plan are outlined.
