Part of: Risk-Based Decision Making in Water Resources

Abstract:

The authors have selected four perspectives of the water resources decision problem that illustrate how formal risk-based approaches may be applied - an economic perspective, an environmental perspective, a decision-analytic perspective, and an institutional perspective. These perspectives will be discussed in terms of emerging risk-based approaches for water resources decision making.
