Abstract:

Some concepts and methods of project cost control for heavy equipment have been defined, which include methods, effectiveness, outside repairs, and the resulting management information, its evaluation and use. Effective equipment cost reports should be produced as a result of interaction between the Equipment Maintenance Management System and the Equipment Cost Accounting System. The effectiveness of project cost control for heavy equipment is directly related to the accuracy and selectivity of the methods employed to gather and report data. The purpose of this paper is to present some successful concepts and methods used in budgeting, monitoring and controlling construction equipment cost at the project. This will include management information, its evaluation and its use, as well as the philosophy used in this management process.
