Abstract:

An overview of the field of organization design is presented along with a brief description of major macro-organization design theories. Utilizing this information, four water resources management institutions in the United States are compared for their organizational characteristics. Then, on the basis of these experiences, an organization structure is recommended for the Senegal River Development Project in West Africa.
