Abstract:
Many second time users of computer-aided design software and hardware, in their efforts to have more power and flexibility, are switching to superminicomputers and building their own systems. By obtaining a superminicomputer and adding third party software, users can build their own CAD system. Recent forecasts predict a fall in market share for turnkey systems and a rise in superminis.
