Abstract:

New developments in concrete building materials combined with better understanding of the performance of concrete structures is now allowing design and construction of more efficient and durable concrete marine structures. The article discusses concrete ductile frames prestressed concrete fender piles, silica fume concrete, epoxy coated reinforcement, and anti-washout admixtures.
