Abstract:

In 1986, a full-scale five story reinforced masonry test building is to be constructed in the Japan Building Research Institute Large-Scale Structure Test Laboratory, and through 1987 to 1988, tests will be carried out in order to evaluate its seismic performance. At present, preliminary design and analyses of the test building are being carried out. In this paper, results of ineleastic dynamic response analyses of the test building are introduced.
