Abstract:

This paper presents the first results and elaborations obtained from the tests of an experimental 40m tall guyed mast. The instruments installed to date are a cup anemometer on the mast top and two accelerometers at an intermediate level, whose readings are recorded on magnetic tape and elaborated on an hp computer. So far, records due to impulsive and wind loads have been obtained.
