Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Dynamic Response of Structures

Abstract:

Results are presented on the basis of experiments conducted on conventional and steel fibrous reinforced concrete beams. The effects of the amount and nature of steel reinforcement and presence and amount of axial compressive load are investigated with respect to durability, stiffness degradation and energy absorption capability of tested beams. The degradation behavior of conventional and steel fibrous reinforced concrete beams are compared.
