Abstract:

This article describes a computing basics program that calculates flows in sanitary or storm sewage lift station. The program was written to aid in design of duplex sanitary or storm sewage lift stations. It assumes a duplex station, with the second pump used solely for backup. There are no provisions for multiple pump operation.
