Serial Information: Civil Engineering—ASCE, 1986, Vol. 56, Issue 1, Pg. 49-51

Document Type: Feature article

Abstract:

A constructibility review takes place in the concept stage, preferably before the project design is completed. The reviewers usually are contractors or project engineers who have a great deal of field experience. They check the design to find the easiest, best and most economical way to build it without changing the structural integrity of the project. Construction methods are considered, actual construction procedures are decided.
