Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Electronic Computation

Abstract:

A microcomputer package for the analysis and design of prestressed concrete spun poles is described. The package, named PCPAD, consists of six programs each having a specific analysis or design function. A discussion of the various capabilities of PCPAD is presented, and a numerical example is given to illustrate the use of the programs. Use of the microcomputer as a vital design tool for increasing the design productivity and minimizing engineering time is emphasized.
