Abstract:

The paper presents an overview of the specific proposed changes that would have the greatest direct impact on the hydroelectric power industry. Next, it presents the major conclusions of a computer-assisted analysis examining the changes as they might be written into law. This paper examines a number of scenarios and describes both the direct microeconomic or business impacts and also the macroeconomic or larger world impacts.
