Evaluation of a Pump-Storage Hydropower Facility

Abstract:

This paper summarizes the findings of the evaluations conducted by faculty of the University of Missouri and outside consultants regarding the downstream effects of Harry S. Truman Dam hydropower operations. Proposed alternative management measures have been reviewed and a recommendation has been made for the best approach for establishing the most beneficial management measure for the Harry S. Truman hydropower facility. Recommendations are also made for future investigations which are necessary to determine the maximum project benefits.
