Abstract:

This paper highlights some of the constraints in planning and execution of rehabilitation work which must be carried out within an extremely tight schedule, dictated by hydrological considerations and production requirements. The recent experience in the rehabilitation of Unit 2 at Shipshaw generation station is reviewed, giving some of the key elements required to bring such a crucial undertaking to a successful and timely completion.
