Abstract:

The papers in this book address the impacts of computers on the organization, the individual, and project management. On the organizational level, topics include managing the introduction of CADD and of decentralized computer use. On the individual level we find forecasts on the impacts on the individual, his professional work, his computer work at home, and his role in guiding change. Software and techniques for computerized project management in the engineering firm are presented.
