Abstract:

Computer models to develop improved designs and traffic management schemes are used more effectively with graphical displays of their results. This paper describes the TRANSYT DISPLAY interactive microcomputer program, which produces displays of signalized networks and output features of the TRANSYT simulation model. This graphics package can display most of the input data values and measures of performance for each link and node, from the standard TRANSYT input and output files. Applications of the program are presented, and future program developments are also discussed.
