Abstract:
From most attorneys' point of view, when the elements of good contract administration are studied and discussed, one of the most important elements is thorough and accurate documentation of the contract file. This article will first explore why thorough and accurate documentation is so important and will also consider how thorough and accurate documentation can be used to prevent contract disputes, claims and legal actions. In addition we will specifically look at the inspection and acceptance aspects of contract administration and the relationship with documentation and preventive contract administration.
