Abstract:

This paper reports on the development, implementation, and practical use of a micro-computer based system which simulates the organizational performance of construction companies. The purpose of the system is to assist contractors - and other construction industry firms - in evaluating the potential costs and benefits of alternative business and organizational strategies.
