Abstract:

In recent years, microcomputers have been increasingly employed in the analysis of water distribution systems. In addition to being used for hydraulic analysis, they can also be used to display results graphically. In order to insure the efficient use of such a tool this paper examines the capabilities of existing solution algorithms as well as the desirability of various program options. A simple example is presented to illustrate the potential of microcomputer applications.
