Abstract:

A three-day training course in hydrology and hydrologic methods has been developed for the Federal Highway Administration using an Apple IIe microcomputer for the presentation of all visual aids. This training seminar was developed to accompany Hydraulic Engineering Circular No. 19, 'Hydrology'. Individual lessons on hydrologic topics are accompanied by computer graphics designed to illustrate the lecture material. Materials for the three day course include an instructor manual, a student manual, and forty-nine 5 1/4 double prime floppy diskettes containing approximately 1000 illustrative graphics.
