Abstract:

A new study was initiated to determine the appropriate cone of depression for the Northwest Well Field and to develop land use restrictions within that area. A finite-difference ground water computer model was developed for use in predicting the Northwest Well Field cone of depression. The model was calibrated using historical data collected for two different time periods. To further evaluate the model's predictive ability, the model was verified using historical data collected for two more time periods.
