Abstract:

Microcomputer Applications for Coastal Engineering (MACE) is used to distribute software with accompanying documentation which emphasizes the advantages of microcomputers in the practice of coastal engineering. The programs are directed to Corps field offices, but they will be available to the public in Miscellaneous Papers published by the U. S. Army Engineer Waterways Experiment Station (WES). Applications may fall into one of two descriptive categories: commercially available software with specific illustrations and original software which readily executes on a microcomputer. Specific objectives of the MACE program include documentation of microcomputer applications of two functional types.
