Abstract:

Computer aided planning may fail if new or untried computer programs or new equipment is used when time is limited. Eleven leadership skills helped the Utah Projects Office, US Bureau of Reclamation, use new equipment and programs meet critical deadlines when a major portion of the Central Utah Project was reformulated. These leadership skills helped create a positive environment where individual creativity and responsibility were broadly exercised.
