Abstract:

The nuclear power industry in the United States is experiencing technological as well as construction and operation problems in nuclear facilities. It is the intent of this paper to review past research done on the factors that cause these delays, to indicate their relative importance and impact on the nuclear industry, and to describe possible resolutions that are either currently being implemented or that have been proposed for future use.
