Abstract:

Alaska Clean Seas is a spill response organization whose area of interest includes all of the marine environment surrounding Alaska. It provides support to members in contingency planning, research and development, equipment procurement and maintenance, and training. Spill prevention is emphasized. Spill response unit operations, spill containment, recovery and disposal are discussed.
