Abstract:

Analysis of soils before dredging can make or break a dredging project. It is seldom possible to obtain all of the information needed for selecting equipment and estimate outputs. The extent of analysis determines the cost of exploring and often is limited. This paper deals with some of the important parameters that should be analyzed before a dredging project is started.
