Regulation: The Unsolved Dilemma

by A. D. Pistilli, American Dredging Co, Camden, NJ, USA,

Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Dredging and Dredged Material Disposal

Abstract:

Over the years, the impact of governmental regulatory agencies has severely restricted industrial and commercial development in southern New Jersey. Recent Federal reviews of these regulations have made some improvements, but the delegating of more permit authority to the State level may be regressive. Why not a panel of professional citizens to review all State regulatory procedures and make recommended changes?
