Abstract:

Transportation brokerage is a coordinated management approach to meeting transportation consumer needs with existing transportation providers. In doing so, brokerage fosters increased mobility for individuals without access to personal automobiles. A brokerage system minimizes the necessity of self-owned, self-operated vehicles.
