Abstract:

Word processing has revolutionized the work place and changes have been felt in the engineering industry where sometimes the amount of information that must be processed and reprocessed, typed and retyped is staggering. Based on interviews with those who have had experience, this article examines what to look for in word processing, including what is good about word processing, what can be improved, how extensive current applications are and what we can expect in trends for the future.
