Abstract:

Electronic spreadsheets have many potential applications to civil engineering. They are ideal for the derivation of unit hydrographs and the construction of design storm hydrographs. They are also useful tools for backwater computations, using standard step method, for reservoir and channel routings and for flood frequency analyses and reservoir operation studies.
