by John L. Cranmer, Jr., (M.ASCE), Consultant; Van Horn, Tex.,Serial Information: Civil Engineering—ASCE, 1982, Vol. 52, Issue 2, Pg. 60-61
Document Type: Feature article
Abstract:
A micro-computer program is explained in step-by-step manner as a shortcut for biaxial bending design with results in as little as 60 seconds. Biaxial bending requires the consideration of the effects of the loading in both the major and minor directions. Input can be made in degrees, roof slope in percent, or roof pitch in inches rise per foot run.
