Abstract:

Problems of the '80s will include: (1)A major effort to bring municipalities into compliance with clean water laws. So far only 40% of the municipalities are in compliance; (2)a comprehensive groundwater protection act. 50% of U.S. drinking water comes from groundwater and our groundwater is being polluted; and (3)methods to deal with non-point source pollution.
