by L.P. Kriz,

Serial Information: Journal of the Engineering Mechanics Division, 1959, Vol. 85, Issue 3, Pg. 95-110

Document Type: Journal Paper

Criteria derived by determining analytically value of extreme compression edge strain which results in maximum value of moment or load; following rectangular members are considered: homogeneous beams, reinforced concrete beams, and eccentrically loaded reinforced concrete columns; ultimate strength so derived is in agreement with tests.

Subject Headings: Reinforced concrete | Concrete beams | Load tests | Concrete columns | Ultimate strength | Maximum loads | Ultimate loads | Load factors
