by J.W. Delleur,

Serial Information: Journal of the Engineering Mechanics Division, 1957, Vol. 83, Issue 1, Pg. 1-24

Document Type: Journal Paper

Development of turbulent boundary layer is analyzed theoretically for case of steady flow in horizontal open channel; problem is solved for rectangular cross section, but same scheme could be used for other sections; simplified solution is given for channel of large width; theory is subsequently compared with experimental results.
