Pressures on Curtain Wall with External Mullions

Many tall buildings have curtain walls with external mullions as their most prominent feature. The model tests reported here indicate in which regions of such walls the pressure distributions between mullions are independent of the velocity component parallel to the mullions, where end effects are important, and where to place pressure taps on such walls. Correlations and integral time scales of the pressure fluctuations in the separated and attached flow zones between mullions of I-section are also given.
