Equations are derived for the design of nonstandard composite prestressed concrete beams for flexure. Interaction diagrams showing the relationship between prestress force and bending moment are used in the derivation of the equations. The required proportions of the section are determined directly. The required prestress force is determined in a rapidly converging iteration. An example design is given.
