A numerical analysis of a number of single-cell curved box-girder sections with variable curvature, length, web spacing, number of diaphragms, and loading was performed. The effects of these parameters on longitudinal stresses are considered, based on selected numerical results. Implications for preliminary design are presented for both concrete and composite concrete/steel sections.
