A method based on the disaggregated stochastic sequential behavioral models is presented to describe the mode choice and trip frequency choices of an Indian Commuter. The calibrated models from the Ahmedabad Metropolitan City were employed to study the direct and cross elasticities and micro-responsiveness in addition to changes in mode choice and trip frequency probabilities to a variety of policy variations. Planning applications of the models is presented.
