| Abstract: |
This proceedings, Spatial, Lattice and Tension Structures, contains over 100 papers presented at the IASS-ASCE International Symposium 1994, held in conjunction with the ASCE Structures Congress XII, April 24-28, 1994, Atlanta, Georgia. These papers present issues related to both traditions and innovations in the conception, analysis, design, construction, aesthetics, and evaluation of lightweight and long-span structural systems. They are grouped in five main sections: 1)Spatial structures; 2) lattice structures; 3) tension structures; 4) shell structures; and 5) structures and architecture. Within each section, typical topics addressed by the sessions are case studies of new or existing structures, structural design, structural theory, experimental studies, structural analysis, structural dynamics, earthquake engineering, and computation. |
