Abstract: Proceedings of Watershed Management 2000 and Operations Management 2000, held in Fort Collins, Colorado, June 20-24, 2000. Sponsored by the Environmental and Water Resources Institute of ASCE. This collection contains 167 papers on the management of watersheds and water system operations. Papers on watershed management consider such topics as: federal agency activities; watershed modeling; integrated management; streambank stabilization; fire, sedimentation, and road impacts; and water quality issues and TMDLs. A special section of papers focuses on irrigation and drainage and examines infiltration issues, evapotranspiration models, wetlands management, irrigation water management, and water quality and runoff management. Papers on operations management address such topics as: reallocation studies, trends in federal water policy, the use of forecasts in operations, and decision support systems.
