Abstract: In this investigation an analytical treatment for the linear static analysis of a circular beam on an elastic foundation, in the most general case of response and loading, is presented. Following an appropriate analytical methodology, the differential equations describing the equilibrium of the foregoing beam have been decoupled and a closed form solution is obtained.
