Is Bedform Development Chaotic?

Abstract:

A qualitative analysis of a model for the partially specified bedform development system is presented. The study rests on the use of technique of loop analysis and the connection of the loop analysis results to chaos. It is found that the bedform development system is asymptotically unstable and generally chaotic.
