by Frederick A. Slane, Univ of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM, USA,

Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Engineering, Construction, and Operations in Space IV

Abstract:

In this paper an attempt is made to provide a physical understanding of these various phenomena and their long-term effects on the lunar environment. This understanding is then applied to the electrical, mechanical and optical engineering disciplines and the potential for impacts on Lunar project design considerations is evaluated.
