Abstract:

This paper presents primarily the results of an application of the newly refined computational simulation model to study three-dimensional flows in a lock and dam system, which has submerged port holes built in the guard wall leading to the lock entrance. Based on the results of this application, the capabilities and limitation of this computational simulation model, CCHE3D are discussed.
