Abstract:

SIA Saknapirdatsva experience in creation of gravel beaches for the coast protection from wave erosion is generalized in this paper. A conclusion has been made that the most expedient one, from a position of ecology, economy and aesthetic is the control of coastal processes by means of adding elastic material to coastal zone. Arranging sediment free shift along the shore cuts down the amount of sediment transported to canyon. Practice and organization of natural resources use must be grounded upon the theoretical basis of natural sciences.
