Abstract:

The Construction Project Planning (CPP) stage is a critical stage for the success of a construction project. This stage lays the framework upon which most of the construction decisions are made. The CPP process consists of a number of steps which are required for the generation of cost plans and time plans. Among various steps in the CPP process, one step which stands out for its importance is the selection of construction methods for the work items. This selection process controls the formulation of project activities which form the basis of the cost estimate and construction schedule of a project.
