Abstract:

This paper summarizes a study that estimated trichloroethylene (TCE) contamination patterns in a portion of the Tucson water distribution network due to several polluted wells. Aspects discussed include a description of the evolution of the network, data requirements for various contaminant estimates, geographic flow balance, and network analysis.
