Abstract:

The paper describes the design of the wave power converter and the principal of working. The results from a tank test on a scale model are presented with the main emphasis on design loads and power absorbed in irregular waves. Conversion of hydraulic power and energy transmission are presented for the test unit and future development plans are discussed.
